The Horizon

The Horizon is a platform for dialogue for students currently studying in Jeju English Edu City(JEEC), a city established by Jeju City Government of South Korea to provide international education for both domestic and foreign students. Jeju is culturally the most diverse place with the highest rate of the multicultural population in Korea as well as with its unique, history-long, local languages and cultures and bountiful events. The Horizon aims to provide insightful essays that would enhance and broaden cultural perspectives and understanding among students in JEEC as well as the most up-to-date information on volunteering service opportunities and cultural events. We welcome any student in JEEC to submit their essays on our magazine site. Once a year, we will select the best pieces among the articles and publish them as a yearly issue of our magazine with a special perennial in-depth research project on human rights, social issues, ecosystem, and environment topics.
